Turdas 28th and Fredas 29th of Last Seed (Journal)
I have had an awful couple of days. It started well enough, I left Solitude, having decided to walk on to Markarth. The weather was awful, raining heavily and it became extremely cold. I put my fur armour on, over my clothes, in the hope that it would keep me warm. According to the map, I was quite close. As I was walking along the road, a dog came bounding up to me, barking. He seemed to want me to follow him, so I did (with some trepidation). He led me to a hut, where I found his owner, who seemed to have died in his sleep. I read his journal and found that the dog’s name is Meeko. Well, clearly I couldn’t leave him to fend for himself! He is adorable, so fluffy and warm! He quite happily came along with me.
We carried on towards Markarth but after a short while, I began shaking and shivering with cold. I decided I was not prepared for this kind of cold and turned back and headed South, intending to go back to Whiterun in want of a better plan. I was still extremely cold and as the skies darkened, I had decided to setup my tent and try to warm up. While I was searching for firewood, I collapsed…
Meeko (my hero!), had alerted a nearby hunter to the situation. The hunter brought me to his camp and I warmed up. I was so grateful to them both. He refused to take any payment so I insisted he took some of my best potions.
I have spent this morning searching for my tent… I found it and am now camped a little way outside Whiterun.

*Meeko has been modded to a husky and is essential. I know that’s sort of cheating but I ended up in a trap of my own making – I couldn’t leave him… once I’d took him, there’s no way I could let him die… so essential it is 
He isn’t super powered or anything, and I don’t think he’ll make me OP.
